I’ve been tagged by KatKMeanders! I knew it was only a matter of time till I got pulled into one of the blogging games. I ignored the signs, living recklessly, fast and loose. It caught up with me finally.
Here are the rules:
- Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog
- Share 7 facts about yourself
- Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blog
- Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog
Seven facts about me:
- I love Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. I’ve been know to eat three pints of it in a week. I may go months without having any, but then the urge will hit and I’m off to the grocery store.
- I hate brussels sprouts. It’s the only vegetable that I absolutely will not eat in any form, and no, I will not like your special secret recipe.
- I love to drive fast and especially on twisty mountain roads (only when there is no traffic). Since I sold my twin-turbo Audi Quattro and bought my Prius, that thrill is gone. I used to love to mash the pedal to the floor at the beginning of a freeway on-ramp and watch the speedometer pass 100 mph before I reached the point where I merged into the freeway. I do like knowing that I’m putting less than a third the amount of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than when I was driving my Audi, and the fact that my fuel bill has dropped to less than a third what it was. Thrills of a different flavor.
- My favorite movie is What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Annabella Sciorra. I have the DVD and watch it probably four times a year.
- I watch SouthPark. I won’t apologize for it. I find it extremely entertaining in a sarcastic, satirical, ironical sort of way. It’s one of the only TV shows I watch.
- In 2000, I voted for Bush. Before his first term was half over I realized the consequences of my choice was going to be 1000 lifetimes of bad karma for me. When the last canoe leave planet earth, I’ll be standing on the shore waving goodbye. Please make it a little easier on me and take your trash with you so I have less cleaning up and rebuilding to do. Thanks in advance.
- I like my cat Sidney better than some people I meet. He is what he is with no masks, no deceptions, no illusions, no delusions.

Namaste
@brightfeather
I’ll be heading over to see what you reveal.
Cats do tend to “tell it like it is” to their human companions, don’t they? Our Snowy will tell you off in semi-phore with his tail. He’ll flip it upwards in short, quick movements, very definitely “flipping you off”, and other times his tail tells of contentment. I tease him sometimes and call him “Flag Tail”, if he’s being especially grouchy, but not in a hurtful manner, more along these lines *scritching Snowy’s itchy spot* “What are you grumping about, Mr. Flag Tail?”
@katk
Yes, if we listen, our four-legged friends tell us just what’s on their mind. If Sidney comes over and sits by my chair at the computer, I ask him what he wants. If he looks toward his food bowl, I know he’s hungry. If he looks towards the door, I know he wants to go outside. If he lays down and rolls over on his back, I know he wants to play. And yes, as you say the tail is a good mood indicator.
Thaaaanks, Richard. I loved What Dreams May Come, too. Took me to an entirely different place in consciousness. How about “Somewhere in Time” –Christopher Reeve & Jane Seymour?
#3 is a surprise! #7 is understandable. #6…well, we love ‘ya anyway, and it sounds as if you will pay.
I will go to have what dreams may come & think what to post. ‘Night.
@muse
I should clarify that I only #3 on an open stretch of road where I wouldn’t put anyone else in danger (no other cars), and not for long periods of time. In the mountains no four-wheel drifts on blind corners, only when I can see there is no traffic. I’m a cautious maniac. 🙂
Somewhere in time is a great movie as well and thanks for reminding me of it. I’ll put it on my list.
Richard,
I promise that when I get home from work tonight that I will do this!!! I have just been so busy. Check back tomorrow morning and I will have this posted!
Megan
@Megan,
Take your time. I waited two days before doing mine.
Richard… I do wanna do this As soon as I’m done writing the papers that are due before I head back to class this Thursday… if not then, then as soon as I’m done with the rest of my papers due for this quarter. Else, as soon as I’m done with my thesis. Or as soon as I graduate… YEAH. That’s when I’m supposed to get my life back!!
I actually DID wake up this morning thinking of a way I wanted to handle this. If I can find the time for the research.
Thanks for thinking of me!
@terraflora
Don’t worry about it, do your papers and homework and such. That’s the most important thing for you right now.
I’ve done it! 7 more about me than most would want to know: http://MusEditions.WordPress.com Thanks again.
And seven interesting things they are Muse!
LOL Oh, I found someone from my Tribe:
Brusselsprouts – the Potato Bug of Veggies.
(gag)
@Grace
Indeed! Personally I would rather eat a tennis ball than an Brussels sprout.
