About Me
Hi, my name is Richard and I live in northern Wyoming. My normal “day job” ended late in 2006 when the company I worked for was sold and moved out of state. I am now working for myself doing consulting work for the consumer electronics industry and pestering my cat, Sidney (it has been said that dogs have masters and cats have staff). When I’m not working, my hobbies include photography and just “being” in the great outdoors. I am also passionate about music (listening, not playing) and art, although the art bug has not popped to the surface of late. Although I have been on a spirtual path since the early 90’s, I began studying Shamanism under Hank Wesselman and his wife, Jill Kuykendall in early 2005 and for me, Shamanism is like a coming home. It has awakened and touched me at a core level and made a profound difference in my life. I will share my journey with you on this blog, and I hope you enjoy the ride.
About This Blog
The HTML and CSS (Custom Style Sheet) in the weblog are compatible and compliant with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards with the following exception: Pages which display a “summary” of a post (begining and/or ending with [...] ). This is due to the fact that the automatic creation of the post “summaries” for display on those pages may result in the exclusion of ending HTML tags which makes the W3C validator believe there is an error in the code.

I spent many happy summers at the water fall in Little Goose Canyon. Your photos are important. The Big Horns are very special.
Thanks,
Judy
Thank you Judy, and you are welcome. I can imagine what fun that was. For me the Big Horns have always felt like “home” and Little Goose Canyon is Magic. Sadly, I only discovered it this summer, but I’m going to get to know it well over the next few years as it comes back to life.
Richard,
I am unsure which rock formations you are referring. The property on the left side of the road as you go up Little Goose Canyon past the bridge (on Canyon Road) to the Little Goose campground belongs to Canyon Ranch
and The Nature Conservancy.
Richard.
Your current photo appears to be on the property of Canyon Ranch. I am fairly confident you will need permission from the land owner to go on the land. Is this a current photo? After the fire?
Judy, thanks for the information, and I took the shot Friday evening, the 17th. In this picture, Little Goose Canyon would be to the right. I was at the barricade right at the turn off to the Bradford Brinton Memorial.
Thank you Richard. I would like to know when you get through how the fire burned in the Little Goose area of Canyon Road.
The property on the right side of Canyon Road that approaches the canyon belongs to a family named Merritt. I am unsure of the spelling.
Please keep the pictures coming! Thank you.
You are welcome Judy, and thank you.
[Edit: And by the way, I will certainly post photos of my trip into Little Goose Canyon.]
Have you done much work with music and dance, or is that something that doesn’t work for you? I find that I can kick my mind “in gear” by moving in certain ways to various music. Some call it a “shuffle-stamp” and it is, sort of, but they don’t mention arm movement or turns.
I find your blog relaxing. It’s nice to take a break and read something with meaning sometimes. Thanks again for all the help in the forums!!!

@Megan
Thanks for stopping by and you are very welcome for the help. I took a quick look at your blog, and will be going back a little later for a better look. I’ve always had an strong interest in the arts and I know I’m going to enjoy your blog.
I hope that you will enjoy it! I enjoy writing about the arts, and really enjoy it when people like to read what I write.
hmmm..Shamanism. Something new to me..will be reading on yr entries..very interesting =)
I found this page, and thought to share it with you. I’ve finally found words that express the core of the way I choose to live. I’ve tried to express the ideas before, but my way of saying it wasn’t so well joined, if that makes sense.

Hello, I’ve “tagged” you in my most recent blog entry. *smile*
Tell me about working for a cat ! I used to say I am the proud owner of an adorable cat, but have quickly learnt since to say she is the owner…..in every way.
Thank you for your help at the WP forum

I hate when people just pushing their own solution around without trying to understand what the problem is. But you’re different and that’s the best
@zhai

Hello,
Your Site is excellent. Having Great PageRank. Also I have noticed that you are always active on wordpress forum. But I wonders about one thing I have not seen either type of Ads on any page of your site.
Do you earns anything from this site?
Regards
ninad
Ninad,
No I do not. My site is not about making money, and in my opinion ads just cheapen a site. For some, it is about making money, and more power to them, everyone is different.
