So I bought myself a Christmas present: an iPad. I told myself it was needed for my web work, but who am I fooling? It is for that since I need to be able to check web designs, but it is also a seriously cool new toy, and I’m really enjoying it.

I bought a kindle fire for the same reason.

I have a friend with a Kindle Fire and I played with it and it is quite nice, but being Mac person I decided on the iPad for compatibility and because it just seems more polished and finessed to me.
I’m very glad to see the Kindle Fire though as it is really the first Android-based tablet that is really worth considering.

Hi Rich,
The contrast between those who can buy toys and those can’t is becoming more clearly defined these days.
You didn’t fool me either.

I’m sad to see that contrast. Things are so f*&ked up in the world right now and sadly there doesn’t seem to be any end in sight. We have no Authentic Chiefs in positions of power and that is soooooo sad.
Teaser: Post coming soon on Authentic Chiefs.

I’m waiting for the post on Authentic Chiefs. Please don’t forget to prompt me after you publish it.

I’m working on it a little at a time in and around the web work which has picked up here lately. Everyone wants changes. I’ll let you know when I publish it.

Self made presents are always the best, aren’t they ???

Heh, yes they are, and in this case I contracted with Apple to make it for me. That still counts, right?

Hi Richard,
My first visit here, my first blog at WordPress. I decided to visit your site and see how it was set up only to find that you are about the only person ,beside myself, that has read “Jane Roberts”! My sister and I have started this blog to mainly speak about Art but we will add more content in the future that is energy based.
It might be fun to watch us stumble around as we find our way thru the world of blogging..read: total neophytes.
Yours is a very beautiful site.

Rhinda, thanks for the compliment, and yes, it seems rare to run into people who have read Jane. She brought through some outstanding material and not all of it has even been published as I understand it.
I’ve got your site in my reading list and will be dropping around to see what you two are up to. Have fun and enjoy it.
